Andrew Buchwalter is Presidential Professor at the University of North Florida. He has served as Fulbright Guest Professor at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. His research interests include German Idealism, Legal-Political Philosophy, Critical Social Theory, Global and Environmental Justice, Human Rights, and Public Cultural Policy. He is the author of Dialectics, Politics, and the Contemporary Value of Hegel’s Practical Philosophy (Routledge) and the edited volumes Hegel and Global Justice (Springer), Hegel and Capitalism (SUNY Press), and Culture and Democracy : Social and Ethical Issues in Public Support for the Arts and Humanities (Westview Press).

Emilia Angelova
Emilia Angelova is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto. Her research is in 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy, with special emphasis on the reception of themes such as, e.g., selfhood, temporality, freedom and the imagination, as raised by Kant and Hegel, and taken up by contemporary philosophy. She works on dialectical and deconstructive approaches developing from Kant, Hegel and Heidegger, specifically as these trace back to the history of the reception and the transformation of the problematics of negativity in Hegel. She connects this work on Hegel to work on processes of subjectivity formation in recent French feminist theory, and work on radicalizing democracy in Jean-Luc Nancy, and in Julia Kristeva, especially via emphasis on the foundation of reason, its history and historicity.

Daniel Goldstick
Daniel Goldstick is a Canadian philosopher, writer and political activist. He is currently a Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto. His philosophical work consists of approximately 75 papers, including : Methodological Conservatism (Am. Phil. Quart. 1971) ; Dialectics versus Metaphysics (Explorations in Knowledge, 1988) ; Cognitive Reason (Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, 1992). His book, Truth, Reason and Reality (2009, University of Toronto Press) is considered to be ’’masterly philosophy by any nature’’.

Since 2011 project leader of the critical Schleiermacheredition at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities ; President (1992–2016) resp. honorary president (since 2016) of the International Hegel-Society ; member of numerous editorial resp. advisory boards, amongst other the International Scientific Board of the Marx-Engels Gesamtausgabe. Last books : Die Reformation der Revolution (2019), Freiheit (2019). Numerous essays and books are translated in 16 languages worldwide.

Tony Smith is Professor of Philosophy at Iowa State University (emeritus). He is a co-editor of the recent Oxford Handbook of Karl Marx (2019).

Éric Puisais
Éric Puisais, est docteur en philosophie et diplômé en sciences politiques, il a travaillé sur la réception de Hegel en France au XIXe siècle, et également sur les matérialistes français et en particulier sur la pensée de Dom Deschamps. Il a notamment publié : L’Hégélianisme et son destin français (2012) et L’autre face des Lumières (2018). Il est chercheur associé au laboratoire « Métaphysique Allemande et Philosophie Pratique » (MAPP) de l’Université de Poitiers. Il effectue par ailleurs des recherches en sciences politique autour de la question de la néolibéralisation des institutions dans son déploiement territorialisé, en particulier dans les phénomènes de décentralisation. Il est également rattaché au laboratoire RURALITE de l’Université de Poitiers, et chercheur associé au CRITS de l’Université Saint-Paul d’Ottawa.

Kaveh Boveiri
Professeur associé à l’Institut d’études internationales de Montréal (IEIM), Kaveh Boveiri est aussi chercheur à la Chaire UNESCO d’étude des fondements philosophiques de la justice et de la société démocratique de l’Université du Québec à Montréal. Détenteur d’un doctorat en philosophie de l’Université de Montréal, il enseigne actuellement à cette université. Il a publié en français, anglais, allemand et farsi sur la philosophie hégélienne et marxiste, son domaine d’expertise. Comme traducteur, il a traduit plusieurs textes philosophiques en farsi. Il a aussi coédité deux livres sur Marx-Hegel et sa monographie Marxian Totality sera publiée par Brill en2021.

Eric Martin est docteur en pensée politique (Université d’Ottawa) et professeur de philosophie au Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, au Québec. Il est membre du Collectif SOCIÉTÉ et chercheur rattaché au Laboratoire Sophiapol de l’Université Paris-Nanterre et également chercheur-associé à L’Institut de recherche et d’informations socio-économiques (IRIS) et au CIRCEM de l’Université d’Ottawa. Il a également été président de la Nouvelle alliance pour la philosophie au collège (NAPAC). Il a notamment collaboré aux ouvrages Université Inc. (LUX), Les racines de la liberté (Nota Bene), La tyrannie de la valeur (Écosociété) et publié Un pays en commun (Écosociété).

Bruno Antonini
Ancien instituteur dans le Tarn (Occitanie - France), Bruno Antonini est professeur de philosophie au lycée Racine à Paris. Il a soutenu en 2002 sa thèse de doctorat de philosophie à l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne sur « Philosophie et politique chez Jean Jaurès : le rôle de l’Etat dans la transmutation de la République en socialisme ». Sa version éditoriale est parue chez L’Harmattan, en 2004, sous le titre Etat et socialisme chez Jean Jaurès, préfacée par André Tosel, directeur de la thèse. Bruno Antonini a aussi présenté, en 2011, le texte de Paul Brousse La Propriété collective et les services publics, aux éditions du Bord de l’eau, collection « Bibliothèque républicaine ». Il est aussi administrateur de la« Société d’études jaurésiennes » et rédacteur des Cahiers Jaurès.
